The fifty-eighth edition of the Salone del Mobile was held from 9 to 14 April 2019 in Milan. The central theme of this edition was sustainability, many exhibitors have relied on the theme of sustainable use of natural resources, such as water, offering products with luxury design and low environmental impact.

On the anniversary of the death of Leonardo da Vinci, Italian cultural icon, the event 'Aqua, The vision of Leonardo' was organized, an experiential exhibition that highlighted the importance of water, a very important element for the Italian scientist. The exhibition was built through a sensory journey that puts the visitor in contact with water through the 5 senses.

Salone recorded record numbers of visitors.With 386.236 presences in 6 days, there was a + 12% compared to the 2017 edition. There were 2,418 exhibitors, 34% of whom came from abroad, data indicating the great consideration of the major furniture brands towards the show, but also a great involvement of young Italian and non-Italian design companies.

Zucchetti Kos offers Outdoor

Let's start with a collection already present in the Dwelli store. Outdoor by Zucchetti Kos was born from the design of Ludovica + Roberto Palomba, the collection gives an aesthetically appealing impression to outdoor furniture with tubs, shower columns and mini-pools.

QUADRAT – outdoor mini-pool available in the built-in or freestanding version. The freestanding version comes with a sculptural form that seems to be suspended in space with the addition of LEDs.

WAZEBO – mini wellness pavilion with a tubular structure that allows you to fully enjoy the benefits of water in contact with nature without giving up the convenience of a shower cubicle. On the ceiling there are single-lever mixers to regulate the flow of hot and cold water.

SHOWER – outdoor shower column with wooden base, has a mixer with joystick control so you can adjust the jet of hot or cold water.

Antonio Lupi presents the new Vitreo and Opale sinks

The Italian company Antonio Lupi presents 2 new sinks:

VITREO – sink consisting of a single Cristalmood© block, the washbasin is available in 10 different colors and with its hexagonal shape, it gives a unique touch to the bathroom.

OPALE –freestanding washbasin that follows the style of the Albume series, made of Cristalmood© is formed by 2 blocks: the column and the water collector positioned at the top of the column. The colors are 10 with the possibility of replacing the Cristalmood© with Carrara marble, another strong piece of the company.

Devon&Devon celebrates 30 years with a limited edition product

Thirty years after the creation of the first Victorian bathtub, on the occasion of the Salone del Mobile, Devon&Devon presented the AURORA30 bathtub, in a limited edition of only 30 pieces. The tub is a restyling of the AURORA tub, resting on a base of exquisitely sculptural plant in precious Portoro marble, with a characteristic deep black color with golden veins. The outside of the body of the tub is covered with a platinum finish aluminum leaf. The interior is glossy black.
